The Commander of Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), Gen. Adah Nwachukwu has come out to clarify who he chose to add ‘General’ to his name.
Not many people know the efforts personnel of Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) across the nation. Though their efforts are not given the necessary recognition but the truth is, CJTF has done notable works in reducing crimes and criminality in our rural communities through their constant effortsi.
However, the National Coordinator of the group, General Adah Nwachukwu, in his recent speech in Port Harcourt urged young people to join hands in fighting crimes in their communities.
Speaking during the 30th edition of ‘Security Bridge with Bosinde Live’ in Port Harcourt, Gen. Adah Nwachukwu said he has been asked by many people on why he chose to add ‘General’ to his name. He said, if notorious criminals can answer Generals, then, I can do that as well.
According to the National Coordinator of CJTF, “if notorious criminals who have killed and destroy properties can answer ‘Generals’ after they have received amnesty from the government, then, some of us who have lived crime free lives and legacies and even joined Government security agencies to fight crimes, we can also answer ‘Generals.’
Rivers State born crime fighter also revealed that his efforts have brought calmness in many communities his state.
He also said it was through his efforts that Onelga Security Peace and Advisory Committee (OSPAC) was born in Rivers State.
Gen. Adah Nwachukwu also clarified that men of Civilian Joint Task Force do not in anyway detain or bail criminals. According to him, “in CJTF, we don’t details or bail criminals or people, our work is to arrest and hand them over to the Police for persecution.
